The Island Chapel is blessed to have a team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our Leadership.
Dr. Will McRaney
Senior Pastor
Dr. Will McRaney, "Dr. Mac" was appointed to serve as The Island Chapel's Interim Pastor in January, 2020. Dr. Mac officially began serving as our Senior Pastor on October 1.
Dr. Mac has served not only local churches as a pastor, he served as a tenured faculty meeting in one of the largest Protestant seminaries in the world. Dr. Mac served as an Executive Director for the mission work of some 600 churches in Maryland/Delaware. These roles were on top of his extensive work as a researcher, author, and trainer of church leaders.
Dr. Mac is the author of The Art of Personal Evangelism: Sharing Jesus in a Changing Culture.
Through his research, writing, and strategy development tools, he helps leaders realize their God-given mission and be more effective in their unique ministry context.
He began The Church Strengthening Network out of the Ministry Enhancement Group to develop Kingdom people for Kingdom advance by encouraging, equipping and coaching leaders.

Ali Johnson
Administrative Assistant
Ali is responsible for a wide variety of functions that keep the Island Chapel running smoothly such as administrative duties, bookkeeping, and email updates.
Ali was born in Calgary, Alberta Canada and moved to Florida in sept. 2019 to take over her mother’s (Nancy Johnson) role on our team. She lives with her sister and their two dogs Jordie and Lucy in Seminole, Florida and enjoys going to the dog beach and park in her free time.
She is working on her Associates degree in Hospitality Management at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Canada. She has 7 years of customer service experience from food and beverage to hotels.
Christina Everingham
Nursery
The Island Chapel became Christina’s home church in 2013 and in 2014 she began serving in the nursery. She grew up in Seminole, FL and has always been involved in the children’s ministry at her family’s church. As a child she assisted her mom in teaching Sunday school to the toddler class, volunteered in the nursery during her teen years, and also served as a leader for the Wednesday night AWANA program as a young adult.
Professionally Christina has been in the childcare field for over 10 years. She has her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies and Community Leadership at St. Petersburg College. Christina resides in Gulfport, FL with her husband and their cat, Sparkles.
